BDSM
What is sado or “BDSM” as a sexual practice?
Who has not seen or heard of the movie "Fifty Shades of Grey"? The film stands out for its explicitly erotic scenes, with elements of sexual practices that imply "BDSM", what role do you want to play in Club Rosellón 315?
"BDSM" is a term created in 1990 to encompass a group of practices and erotic fantasies, whose acronyms mean: Bondage; Discipline and Domination; Submission and Sadism; and Masochism. It covers, therefore, a series of practices and hobbies related to each other and linked to what is called non-conventional or alternative sexualities. Sometimes, in everyday vocabulary, the expressions "sado" or "sadomasochism" are used to refer to "BDSM", although these two terms are misleading, since the practices covered by "BDSM" include more variants and admit a large number of of different manifestations. As an erotic practice, "BDSM" always entails the consensus of the participants and at Club Rosellón 315 it is an essential condition
What does each term mean?
Bondage: is an English term referring to certain bonds that are established in certain relationships of subordination. Historically, in previous centuries, it was a term used to refer to the restrictive bond that united masters and slaves, or feudal lords and vassals. The term bondage is also often associated with rope ties or other restraints, which are often used in BDSM. The erotic practices related to bondage, then, are properly those that establish asymmetric power roles, such as master-slave, boss-employee, teacher-student, police-detainee, etc. In practice, this expression is also related to ties and restrictions for erotic purposes.
Discipline: is a term that refers to erotic practices related to rules, punishments, training, behavior protocols, postures depending on the circumstances, etc.
Domination: is a term used to refer to erotic practices in which a person adopts a dominant role to act according to her will and her desire over another or other people who adopt a submissive role. The person in the dominant role commands and disposes. It is always a domination subject to consensus and the limits established by the person who agrees to be dominated. "BDSM" rejects any practice of domination, however minimal, that does not have the consent of the dominated person.
Submission: is a term used to refer to erotic practices in which a person adopts a submissive role in which they remain under the will of another or other people who adopt a dominant role. It is the complementary situation of domination, which is why it is often referred to as "D/S" relationships. The person in the submissive role obeys or allows her body to be acted on. It is always a situation of voluntary submission, within the framework of the limits established by the person who adopts the submissive role.
Sadism: is a term that in this context is used to refer to erotic practices in which a person obtains pleasure by causing pain, humiliation or discomfort to another person who accepts that situation. These are always voluntary practices that cannot go beyond the limits established by the person receiving the pain, humiliation or discomfort, and that can be stopped at any time. The person who adopts the sadistic role, cares at all times for the situation of the person who receives the pain, humiliation or discomfort, in order to avoid any harm.
Masochism: is a term that in this context is used to refer to erotic practices in which a person obtains pleasure by experiencing pain, humiliation or discomfort, generally at the hands of another person who accepts that situation. These are always voluntary practices that cannot go beyond the limits established by the person receiving the pain, humiliation or discomfort, and that can be stopped at any time.
Fetishism (sexual preference for inanimate objects or for specific parts of the body) is not included within the erotic practices and tastes covered by the acronym “BDSM”. However, it is very common that many fetish practices are naturally inserted into "BDSM" practices.
